The non-eu students, who study Bachelor or Master at the Wiener Musikakademie with the collaboration of our partner institution can obtain a residence permit, which allows them to stay in Austria or in other Schengen countries up to 3 months and extendable up to 6 months and more.
In cooperation with several music institutions, the WMA offers you a wide range of products for your musical education.
The professors of the WMA, even with the collaboration of some members of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra are preparing you for your professional life as a musician.
The WMA does provide you a professional perspective such has competition, management, masterclass, recording. The greatest concern for the WMA is not to keep the students as long as possible and to lose their precious time, but provide the students the necessary experience to be a winner in the competitive professional music life.
Additionally to the Diploma, the WMA offers a study program for the academic titles Bachelor and Master. The completion of the examinations is required in cooperation with our partner institutions. According, what you have already accomplished in other institutions, you might speed up the time for study.
In case you are not able to stay in Vienna, the WMA offers you the possibility to study online. With this modern way of study, you have the possibility to modulate your program according to your time schedule. You can even come from time to time to Vienna and get live lessons.
An important point for musicians is the knowledge of several languages to be able to work on a worldwide scale.
The WMA offers you the possibility to study German, English, Italian or Spanish.
The completion of the examination A1, A2, B1, B2 is realized with the collaboration of our partner institutions such as the University of Cambridge.
